Cobra Bait Custom Hand Poured Baits

                             The Tooth Pick is your best friend...

   Sometimes its really that simple! This trick is for weightless rigging for sub     surface and top water.  You tie your line direct to your hook first. Then rig your bait as shown. Standard Texas Rig style. Then you slide the bait forward putting the eye on the hook into the head of the bait at least a 1/4 to 3/8th of an inch. You then take a tooth pick and go through the top of the head feeling for the eye of the hook. Once there, pop it through to the other side. Then you snip both ends and your done. By doing this the bait can no longer slide during casting. It locks it right in place and can help hold up to even more fish.  This works for all three sizes and any plastics for that matter.                 A little glue goes a long way in the jigging game...

If you are throwing plastics on a jig head, any size, any jig head this is a must. You rig your bait onto the jig head as you normally would. Making sure it is nice and straight when pulled up the the head of the jig. Then slide it back to expose the bait keeper. Apply a small amount of super glue. The gel lock tight seems to be best but most any brand does work. Put some onto the bait keeper and the back of the head of the jig. Slide the bait foward and hold it for 10-15 seconds. By doing this you can more than triple the amount of fish per bait. If it comes loose add some more glue and keep casting. We have had JR's hold up to over 70 fish a few times and over 30 fish almost every time by doing this. Most companies wouldn't want you to know this but we stand by our product and want you all to get the most out of every bait!
